The company provides 24/7/365 multi-platform I.T. private cloud and hybrid environments. It also provides hosting, managed services, disaster recovery, BuaaS, DRaaS, and high availability in its own data centre as well as 3rd party data centres. Mid-Range has a JD Edwards ERP sales and consulting services practice second to none and is an Oracle Partner. Mid-Range is an IBM Platinum Partner for hardware, software, and services. It’s also an HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, VMWare, and Veeam Gold Service Provider. Mid-Range also provides field services for these vendors’ products and services.

About the Role:

Reporting to the VP, Application Sales and Client Services, the Account Executive is responsible for customer accounts that reside in Eastern Canada (which includes Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritime provinces) and select USA based accounts. This Account Executive will have a territory of currently named JD Edwards customers in Eastern Canada, and select USA based customers as the leads are generated and assigned to them. As well, from time to time, a new prospect looking to acquire Oracle JD Edwards software may be assigned to this individual.

This role requires the individual to manage the customer relationship before the sale, during, and after.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account Management requires continued relationship management of the customer throughout and following the sales process. Opportunities may arise over the course of a project for other products and services, therefore, continual customer contact is a must.
  • Territory Management – build a territory plan and strategy that includes building relationships with key executives in your assigned customer base.
  • Candidate must be able to meet quota targets, develop an account plan, and implement new sales initiatives driven by the Mid-Range executive team.
  • This is a field sales role and not an inside sales role. The ability to meet customers is critical in the success of the individual.
  • Develop, build, and nurture your relationships with our key strategic product partners: Oracle, ReportsNow, ALL OUT Security, Arctools, and Everest.
  • Delivery of a monthly forecast, pipeline, and updates of key opportunities and status to your direct manager (VP, Application Sales and Client Services).
  • Candidate must have the ability to do limited travel over the course of the year (including the USA).
  • Attendance at customer user conference when required: InFocus, Collaborate, and others if needed.
  • Update CRM for all sales opportunities in your customer base. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that all contacts, phone numbers, and email addresses are up to date.
  • Continually enhancing your knowledge of all services, applications and consultant skills are a must.
  • Developing knowledge of the competitive landscape, knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your competitors is important to the success of this role.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the VP, Application Sales and Client Services (or someone appointed by him).

Required Qualification-Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience:

  • Previous solution selling experience would be an asset. This entails software, consulting, 3rd party applications, and possibly managed services.
  • Previous experience selling application software, consulting services, managed services, and hosting.
  • Knowledge of Oracle applications and offerings would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Cloud/Private Cloud sales strategy and offerings would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of products such as ReportsNow, ALL OUT Security, Arctools would be an asset.
