About the Role: Intermediate to Senior Technical Specialist (Expertise JD Edwards Development Tools)
This role will work within the Oracle JD Edwards software services team, providing development consulting services and expertise to our customers through Managed Development contracts and directly on specific development projects.
This is a full-time position with limited to no travel. The candidate may reside anywhere in Canada or the USA if the location supports reliable high-speed internet connections and accommodates various customer time zones.

Qualifications
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Core EnterpriseOne toolset is required (FDA, RDA, NER/C, PODA, BSVW)
- Oracle Analytics Publisher is required
- UDO creation and administration is required (form extensions, custom grids, watch lists)
- Working knowledge of the Package & Deployment procedures and concepts is required
- Working knowledge and understanding of basic networking including, but not limited to: Active Directory, VPN, and security are required
- Orchestrator Studio experience is preferred
- Business Services / Java experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of the iSeries (IFS, DB2, Client Access) and RPG III is an asset.
- Mobile Application Development (Ionic/React) is an asset.
- First and second-level application troubleshooting/support
- Working knowledge of Procurement, Sales, and Financials is an asset
- Occasional off-hours work may be required during critical project phases and/or go-live cutovers
- Ability to create technical specifications documents and understand Functional Specifications
Minimum Application Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in the delivery of development services to customers
- As this is a remote job working from a home office, the candidate must be a self-starter with low requirements for supervision. Although the team is remote, they have formed a very close relationship with each other using different collaboration tools. Strong team-work and relationship skills are required for this position.
- Experience in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Office 365, PowerPoint, and Visio
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, or a related field from a recognized University or college
